The Former Attorney General of the United States joined the chorus of critics against the President today. In a statement to The Associated Press, Barr said the President’s conduct is a “betrayal” of the presidency and that “orchestrating a mob to pressure Congress is inexcusable.”
The statement comes on the heels of the protestors stormed into the U.S. Capitol, thereby forcing members to seek shelter in the basement as the Vice President was brought to a separate, secure location.
Barr resigned from his post last month. He has stated that there was no widespread fraud in the election.
