“[Robert] Mueller has declined the invitation to the committee to appear to explain his report,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said to Sean Hannity on Wednesday. “[Mueller] says he doesn’t have enough time.”
The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold hearings on September 30th, as part of its review of the FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation into Donald J. Trump’s campaign in 2016.
“The day of reckoning is upon us when it comes to Crossfire Hurricane,” said Graham.
“I appreciate Mr. Comey coming before the committee and he will be respectfully treated but asked hard questions. We are negotiating with [former Deputy FBI Director Andrew] McCabe; we are hoping to get him without a subpoena — time will tell.”
Graham also revealed that his Committee has also invited Peter Strzok to appear at the September 30th hearing.  “Will see if he will come without a subpoena. But I look forward to this hearing and I think it will be important to the American people.”
