President Donald Trump often received the accusation that he was dividing the nation, but new polling suggests Americans feel that President Joe Biden has been very divisive.
Rasmussen Reports released new polling that says the majority of Americans feel the country has become more divided during Biden’s term.
“Two-thirds of voters think America has become more divided since President Joe Biden was elected president,” the group said.
Biden ran as a moderate but has taken very liberal positions on the economy, LGBT issues, immigration and more. He also scolded Americans who did not want to get vaccinated and has issued several orders the courts have found to be unconstitutional.
The Rasmussen poll also found on 12 percent think the nation is more united since Biden took up residency in the White House.
“The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 66% of Likely U.S. Voters believe America is now more divided than it was before the 2020 election,” Rasmussen said. “That’s slightly higher than when we asked the same question last October. Just 12% now think the country has become more united since Biden’s election, while 18% say it has remained about the same.”
