Finance ministers from the G7 group of leading economies have agreed a deal on tackling corporate tax avoidance by big tech companies.
Speaking after two days of talks in London, German finance minister Olaf Scholz said the deal would “change the world” and that a 15% rate would help pay back debts that have built up during the pandemic.
“It is really a historic breakthrough.”
