As we enter the cold winter months, the amount of outdoor activities has decreased, and indoor activities are highly limited due to the pandemic.
For active people like my husband and me, this is going to be a challenging winter. We love to entertain, we love to ski, we love to travel but, not much of this is happening for the foreseeable future.
As such, I’ve been on the the hunt for all kinds of safe entertainment options to get us through the season (hence, the new ping pong table in our basement) and, I’m pretty sure my latest idea is well worth the money.
You can rent your very own MOVIE THEATER at your local cinema for a private viewing! I know, I know. It sounds very expensive and extravagant, but it really isn’t that costly.
I decided to do some research and contacted my local cinema. The representative was extremely helpful and provided details and pricing. The cost is dependent on:
- Date and Time of Viewing
- Viewing of New Release Films
- Bringing your own movie or requesting one of your favorites.
Renting Your Own Movie Theater For $99
Nationwide, the price to rent a theater ranges from $99 to roughly $300 and covers all ticket costs for you, your family, and close friends.
You can purchase any movie you would like to see on Blu-Ray and bring it
with you to the cinema for viewing OR see any film that is currently in the theaters. (The price is cheaper if you bring your own.)
My parents are visiting us for Christmas…(socially distancing, of course.)
I bought the Blu-Ray edition of the movie “White Christmas” and rented the theater for a private Christmas Eve showing.
And, if you don’t want to go out, you can always bring the movie theater to you! Just get your favorite movie on Blueray through Amazon, order some traditional popcorn containers and enjoy your cinematic experience!
