Blackburn Questions W.H.O.’s Audit to Wuhan Lab: ‘We Need Forensic Audit’

Sen. Marsha Blackburn, (R-TN), wrote a letter to Joe Biden expressing concerns with the World Health Organization’s investigation into the origins of the COVID-19 outbreak, Fox News reported.

In the letter obtained by Fox News, Blackburn raised “concerns about the validity of the [WHO’s] investigation into the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“Prior reports appear to confirm that the WHO had little power to conduct a thorough, impartial examination,” wrote Blackburn.

Blackburn also raised questions on the China-WHO joint report of which “only 4 of the 313 pages and its annexes addressed the possibility of a laboratory accident.”

Another fact revealed in Blackburn letter is that WHO did ask the US Government to recommend three experts whom would be part of the China-WHO joint investigation team. But WHO did not select any of them, instead “another U.S. scientist was selected for that team.”

“Please name the three scientists recommended by the U.S., and articulate the WHO’s reasoning for not choosing these individuals,” demanded Blackburn in her letter.
