President Joe Biden’s economic failures continue to pile up, and Americans are paying the price.
The Department of Commerce released new economic data Friday showing inflation has risen at the highest rate in nearly four decades.
“Just one year of President Biden’s bungled economy has wiped away three years of Americans’ wage gains, with inflation growing at the fastest pace since 1982,” said House Ways and Means Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Texas. “Food, energy, and housing prices all continue to climb, while working families’ income decreases. The threat of crippling tax hikes and more runaway spending only worsens our labor shortage, supply chain crisis, and inflation. The American people will continue to pay the high price of the Biden Administration’s incompetence.”
Rising inflation, supply chain issues, job market difficulties and other economic woes have plagued the Biden administration.
“If inflation is hurting you or your family, Joe Biden thinks you’re ‘a stupid SOB,’ and he won’t hesitate to call you that to your face,” said Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas. “Working families are being CRUSHED by this White House, and their ‘solution’ is to curse out ANYONE who questions them. Totally out of control!”
The poor economic performance is likely aiding Biden’s decline in the polls, which Trish Regan has explored on her podcast.
RealClearPolitics has Biden’s job approval at below 41% and his disapproval at 55%.
“Joe Biden has actually seen his approval ratings sink overall…” Trish Regan said on her podcast. “Wow. So more than half the country now thinks that Joe Biden is doing a really bad job. You know why that is it? Because he is. He is doing a really bad job. And you know what? You can only fake it for so long. Americans are not stupid. I keep saying that because for some reason, this team at the White House really thinks we are stupid.”
